Water tank fabrication is an area of metal fabrication that Smart Fabrication excels at. Our water tanks are ideal for water storage, water cartage, dust suppression, and as semi-permanent water storage tanks. The tanks are fabricated to our high standard of quality, endured by our ISO 9001:2008.
Smart Fabrications water truck designs have been certified by SA Water and can be custom designed to suit any truck. Drawn up in 3D, Smart Fab’s water storage tanks and water trucks can hold anywhere from 2 – 20,000L. Fabricated from 6mm plate they can include many extras such as; ladders & railing, tyre racks, walking decks, toolboxes and many more.
Our 27,000 square feet facility, operating eight individual welding bays and utilises the convenience of overhead cranes for all tank fabrication work. The workshop also operates a large spray booth where we paint all our work. We utilise the convenience of our profile cutter to get the job done and out asap. And our machine shop features many various cutting and drilling machines such as power hacksaws, Brobo, cropper, radial drills etc.
We are also setup for confined space work having all the required equipment and our employees are certified and trained in confined space. This means that we are able to do any re-weld or repair work on the inside when your competitor’s tanks start to leak and fall apart. We can repair, re-weld, test, paint and have you back out on site in record time. Don’t be shy give us a try!
